After the great success of the 1st Mathematics of Gas Transport in 2016 the Research Campus MODAL and the SFB TR 154 present the 2nd Conference on Mathematics of Gas Transport at ZIB October 10th to 11th, 2018.
It is our aim to bring leading experts of different fields together who are interested in today's challenges in gas transport. These include but are not limited to mathematicians, computer scientists, engineers, and practitioners. The focus is to offer a platform for discussions between the various disciplines. On the first day practitioners in the field of gas transport will address practical issues of their daily business.
The second day will point to latest research challenges, in particular related to mathematical issues that are studied in the CRC TRR 154.
