Already for the 9th time, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung des Forschungstransfers (GFFT) grants an advancement award to outstanding master theses, dissertations and start-ups. They are bestowed upon the winners during the annual conference of the GFFT, which took place in Wiesbaden on 9th May 2017. This year, Adam Schienle won the award for his master thesis, entitled "Shortest Paths on Airway Networks".
