- Christoph von Tycowicz and two researchers from TU Delft (Christopher Brandt and Klaus Hildebrandt) have received the "Honorable Mention” Award for their paper https://graphics.tudelft.nl/Publications-new/2016/BVH16/BVH16.pdf "Geometric Flows of Curves in Shape Space for Processing Motion of Deformable Objects”, in which they introduce a discrete geometric flow for curves in shape space, paving the way to novel processing techniques for motions and animations of deformable shapes.
- Hans-Christian Hege has been elected as Fellow of Eurographics (European Association for Computer Graphics) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to visualization research and technology transfer, as well as his excellent leadership and service to the Association and beyond.
