At ZIB, more than 30 researchers from Paris, Munich, Münster, and Berlin will gather to explore a wide range of topics in forest monitoring and climate research. The 2-day workshop will bring together PIs, PhD students, and postdocs to discuss advanced remote sensing, disturbance mapping, recovery processes, and innovative data processing techniques for satellite imagery. The event will also serve as a platform to preview plans for the upcoming AI4Forest Conference and Summer School in 2025, marking a clear step forward in our ongoing research on forest monitoring and conservation.
